Auburn Baseball Heads To Mercer For Final Non-Conference Tilt On Tuesday

The Auburn baseball team will play its final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday night when it travels to Macon, Ga., to face the Mercer Bears. First pitch is set for 6pm ET at Claude Smith Field. Auburn is 27-25 while Mercer is 22-29. The two teams met previously this year on March 25 in Auburn with AU taking a 10-4 win behind home runs by Matt Hall and Justin Hargett and Trent Mummey's 4-for-5 night at the plate. Fr. RHP Bradley Hendrix (1-2, 5.73) is scheduled to get the start for Auburn while Mercer has not declared a starter yet. Auburn will close out the regular season with a home series against LSU beginning this Thursday at Plainsman Park. Auburn is currently tied with Tennessee for 10th in the SEC standings.
